Dimitra Ermeidou was born in Athens, in 1975. She studied painting at the School of Fine Arts, of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has also explored photography, digital image, conservation, museology and curating. Her work was presented in two solo and fifteen group exhibitions and a part of it is in private collections. She expresses herself, artistically, through the pictorial reformation on photographs, aiming to the production of images that balance between Surrealism and Magic Realism. Her work is mainly an agonizing creation of meta - secularistic, transcendent experiences and a formulation of multiple existential questions.
